PROGRAM / MEETINGS- THURSDAY EVENINGS 7:00 - 9:00 PM Reid Burns 952-938-8248
??Oct 02 - Melody Jennings Kruzic, Director of Outreach For Pet Haven. Melody developed the first outreach strategy for Pet Haven and conducted numerous educational activities to spread the word about the organization's mission. Despite her one year tenure with Pet Haven, she has had a long term passion for helping animals, (just ask her parents who had to open their home to a variety of orphaned and injured animals during her childhood). Melody has fostered two dogs in the past and currently shares her home with two dogs, one cat and one husband (in that order, Ha Ha). Melody will be bringing some animals to S.AT.. (Fireside Room)
??Oct 09 - Come hear how Ali Hassan came from Pakistan and became a PGA Golf Professional. He has many stories to share about Golf and the Golf Pro's. Ali began playing Golf 16 years ago, His commitment to learn and teach the game is unbelievable. Ali said he had books opened all over the house and would often get up in the middle of the night to study. Ali says, “Had I studied this hard in College” he jokes, I could have been a Doctor or NASA Scientist”. His theory: Playing Golf is not as important as helping others improve and enjoy their game. Don't miss this chance to talk with Ali. Bring your questions -Ali has the answers! (Fireside Room) ??
??Oct 16 - The ever popular, multi talented entertainer: Miss Betty Rydell
will entertain us in song and music. Betty has been heard in Clubs, Fairs, Conventions, Theaters, Churches, and on radio & television throughout the U.S. , Canada, Europe and Central America, singing a variety of songs and playing nine instruments. Betty's goal is to entertain, to include the audience, to help them to forget their problems and to enjoy themselves. (Fireside Room)
??Oct 23 - ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PARTY / DANCE. MUSIC & LIGHTS BY JIM BERNER - This is our night to be a kid again - use your wildest imagination and dress for the occasion. (Costumes are optional but so much fun) You'll be surprised at some of the great costumes and disguises you'll see. - Join us for an exciting evening of music, mystery and make-believe. PRIZES For 3 Favorite Costumes. EVERYONE WECOME !! (In Great Hall)
??Oct 30 - David Paxton, President ‘WORLD POPULATION BALANCE'
Every minute the world gains over 140 people. Net gain: Over 70 million more people every year. Yet many renewable and non-renewable resources are decreasing. Information you won't find elsewhere. Very Interesting
( In Hearth Room - N.E. Corner of Colonial)
